BREAKING: RECOGNITION OF PARAMEDICS AS PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS - 13th October 2021
Today is significant in Paramedic history. For the first time in any Australian Government document, Paramedics have been recognised as "primary care providers". The document is the Future focused primary health care: Australia’s Primary Health Care 10 Year Plan 2022-2032 Consultation Draft.

Tas Legislation Allows Paramedics to Immunise - 27th June 2021
Tasmania has become the first State or Territory to formally legislate and recognise Paramedics as prescribed persons alongside registered nurses, midwives, pharmaceutical chemists etc to administer immunistions. Poisons Amendment Regulations 2021 was signed off by Governor Warner and came into effect on the 24th May 2021.
Tasmanian Greens Commits to Paramedic Practitoner Certification and Jobs - 25th April 2021

The College was asked to give feedback about the content of the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Amendment Bill 2021 Victoria going to the Upper House of the Victorian Parliament.
